Summary
Ewald Consulting, an association management consulting company, wanted help in showing, not just telling, the lessons that they wanted new board members to learn and remember. Michael McIntee, Director of Content Development and Management for Ewald, is a big believer that humor as an incredibly effective teaching tool. He had seen Tane and Brandon demonstrate that on a wide variety of topics through the Theater of Public Policy.
Services
Michael gave Tane transcripts of interviews the Ewald team performed with their own internal board experts. Tane immediately identified with the topics and drew on his own non-profit experience to give them scripts that were laugh-out-loud funny and close enough to real that they resonated with the intended audience. Danger Boat wrote the script, brought in the talent and orchestrated the entire video production. “We made very few changes to the first draft of the scripts Tane sent us because they were so good, “ said Micahel. “The cast Brandon assembled was top-notch, came ready to perform, and needed very little direction.”
Success
