Making Networking Fun: A Look Back at Our BushCon Video for the Bush Foundation
Networking is an essential skill, but let’s be honest—it can sometimes feel awkward, forced, or even intimidating. That’s why, when the Bush Foundation asked us to create a networking best practices video for their 2016 BushCon event, we knew we had to make it something people would actually enjoy watching.
Instead of the standard talking-head explainer, we went in a different direction: a playful, retro-style 1950s educational film. With its upbeat narrator, black-and-white aesthetics, and a touch of humor, the video turned networking tips into an engaging experience.
The result? A training tool that was as entertaining as it was useful. It not only made people laugh but also gave them practical strategies for building meaningful connections.
We love projects like this—where we get to take important topics and present them in ways that surprise and delight. Take a look at the video and see for yourself how we brought networking best practices to life!
