A Scripted Story about the State Minnesota
"Sketches of Minnesota,” written by Heather Meyer and directed by Mike Fotis, is a dynamic theatrical experience that draws inspiration from hundreds of personal stories gathered during a six-month journey across the state that combined community discussion with improv comedy. The work brings to life the voices of residents from Winona, Little Falls, Duluth, Glencoe, Austin, Waite Park, International Falls, Morris, Austin and West St. Paul.
Through a series of engaging vignettes, audiences will gain insight into the everyday lives and experiences of their fellow Minnesotans, brought to life by the talented cast of Danger Boat Production. "Sketches of Minnesota" celebrates the vibrant and varied narratives that define our state, fostering connection and promoting a deeper understanding of the communities we inhabit. Join us for an unforgettable evening that honors the spirit of Minnesota through the power of storytelling and performance.
