CAN I BE PRESENT WHEN THE IMPROVGRAM PERFORMERS ARRIVE?

Yes!  Though it's not a necessity, we would encourage you to be there to watch the fun.

CAN I TAKE VIDEO AND/OR PICTURES OF THE PERFORMANCE?

Yes!  We hope that you will.  We also hope you'll share them on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks using the hashtag #improvgram.

CAN I CHANGE THE DATE AND TIME OF MY IMPROVGRAM?

So, a "friend" of mine gave me a heads-up that they ordered an improvgram for me, but I won't be at the location they supplied.  Can I change the location/time?

Yes!  But only once.  Email ASPAS@dangerboat.net with the update information BEFORE August 12 (we'll try our best after that, but can't promise anything.)

CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC TIME FOR THE PERFORMERS TO ARRIVE?

Unfortunately we can't guarantee that our teams can be at a certain location at a certain time due to many factors (e.g. traffic, parking, performance layout, etc.)  Our intent is to be present within the time frame you requested.

To help ensure your recipient is present, they will be sent a message in advance indicating the time frame and location they will receive your improvgram. The subject of your improvgram, as well as your identity (if requested) will not be shared in advance.

WHAT IF THE TEAM SHOWS UP BUT THE INTENDED RECEIVER DOES NOT?

If we are unable to locate the intended recipient, the teams will still perform a scene for whomever is there.

CAN I GET A REFUND IF THE INTENDED RECIPIENT DOESN'T SEE THE SCENE?

No.  But know that your contribution is supporting live theater and those who make it happen here in the Twin Cities. All of our performers are being paid for their time.

CAN I REQUEST CERTAIN PERFORMERS?

We'll do our best to fulfill requests, but can't guarantee specific individuals or improv troupes.  We can say with certainty that you'll be hiring some of the finest artists the Twin Cities has to offer.

CAN I BE PART OF THE PERFORMANCE?

Maybe.  It's improv.  We can't plan that.

THE LOCATION I WANT my improvgram to be performed is private and secured.

Okay, that's a statement and not a question, but we'll answer it anyway:

  • If you know of any possible obstacles (e.g. security code entry or escort needed, locked door, etc.) that may prevent the team from getting to a desired location, it will be up to you to provide information / alert the appropriate people at the location beforehand.  If you are there to meet the team and get the team to where it needs to go, that would be swell!

I WANT TO SEND A TEAM TO A LOCATION THAT'S JUST OUTSIDE THE SAINT PAUL CITY BOARDER, WOULD THAT BE OKAY?

If it doesn't fall in the 56.18 mi² of Saint Paul, it's not part of our stage. (But what a stage it is!)

CAN I ORDER MORE THAN ONE IMPROVGRAM?

Yes, but we are not set up to take more than one order at a time.  Luckily, there are no Ticketmaster fees associated with our system.
